Reopening After Covid

We are still waiting to see the full impact of the pandemic on the property market in Puerto Vallarta.  At this time, we can with confidence say that the market has gradually recovered from its affects.  Lately, we are seeing more numbers of listings together with higher volume of purchase agreements being completed. Prices are seeing a minor drop in some areas but overall staying stable.  That said, important number of buyers have achieved significant savings mostly due to changing of currency from USD to the Mexican Peso.

Currently and for the foreseeable future, many clients that are now active in the market place had already made up their minds to buy or sell before COVID put the world on hold.  It is also noticeable the actual increase in numbers of those buyers who are actually capable of acting and to take advantage of their own financial situation, as well basing their decision on preferred lifestyle choices combined with their professional capacity.  Here we estimate to see additional increase in clients seeking to complete on their real estate transactions in Puerto Vallarta.

Bearing all that in mind, full market recovery after such serious disruption may take some time.
